Polly Schultz/Founder
CEO/President
Polly brings with her over 13 years of experience
working as a veterinary technician, practical
rehabilitation of indigenous wildlife, and the study of
non-human primate behavior. She attended the Oregon
Institute of Technology where she studied as an
advanced wildlife rehabilitation instructor. Polly also
studied under Dr. Keith Amaas (Safe Capture
International) at Oregon State University & is trained in
chemical capture & restraint of non-human primates.
Her compassion for primates dates back to her early
childhood.
Skip Schultz
Vice President / Environmental Enrichment
Skip met Polly through mutual friends and the two
were married in 1992. In 1996 they sold the farm and
bought acreage in Dallas, Oregon, where the OPR
mission began.
Skip plays an important role in the enrichment
program for the monkeys, as he designs, builds, and
maintains climbing structures, ledges, perches and
new toys to keep them stimulated.
