In remembrance of Annie
Annie was a 'special
needs' monkey who was
not able to be with other
monkeys. Because of her
unique situation her
enrichment program was
extensive & involved a
great deal of creativity.
Annie enjoyed her
devices so much that she
decided she wanted to
share them with other
monkeys.
In June 2006 "Annie's
Store" was created for the
benefit of other monkeys
like Annie, needing
special enrichment.
Our beloved Annie passed
away in 2007 & will always
be remembered as "The
Mirror Monkey" The
special little simian who
recognized her own image
in the mirror.
